It is highly recommended that the writers must create footnotes using their word processor, and then integrate the citations into the footnotes using special styles for footnotes that can either be Chicago 16th A or MLA (MLA-italics). In Chicago-style bibliography, you can pick either a footnote or an endnote, and all the citations should also be in that format. In APA and MLA styles, a footnote and an endnote don’t serve the purpose of citations but provide extra information in the text.
